See Yourself the Way God Sees You

Hey there,

I haven’t been on my blog for a while so I wanted to make a habit that anytime I have some inspiration about God, relationships and fitness, that I will go on here and type whatever flows through me.

I have been listening to Joel Marion’s Podcast – “Born to Impact” and it has really allowed to me to reflect and get closer to God.

I have gathered a few snippets from each podcast. Today I wanted to talk about one of those snippets.

“See yourself the way God sees you.”

How does God see you, as his child? You are loved, whether you think that or not. God wants you to live a Godly life and see yourself as that. Your life is a blessing and you should treat is as so.

I have been seeing a bunch of motivational speakers say this, “there is a 1 and trillion chance of you being born” or something like that.

Sit back and reflect. You being here, on at this time, on this earth is not coincidence. You have a higher purpose. See yourself the way God sees you.

Whenever you feel down or hopeless, try to remember that God wants more for you than you may feel. You just need to trust in him and in yourself.

We are God’s children and should act as so. See ourselves as this.

I just wanted to give you a little background about my spirituality. I was baptized in a Catholic church as a baby. I was raised in a Evangelist Christian household after my baptism. I didn’t end up getting the rest of my sacraments.

I have always believe in God. I was always a spiritual person. The only thing I didn’t do was go to church after I had the choice because I was forced to go and to sing in front of a bunch of people as a kid.

I wanted to find God in my way, by my own conviction. I will always believe in God in this way.

I don’t have to go to church but recently as my life has progressed, I have made it a habit to go to a Catholic church with my soon to be husband at least every Sunday.

It’s something we both enjoy doing together, being with the Lord united, as one. We are taught lessons and we reflect and talking about this after we have lunch.

So these are just thoughts and remember, see yourself the way God sees you.
