Supplementation is what it means, it supplements what you already have going on in your life naturally. It’s that little extra push that keeps you going on the those days where you can’t anymore. Progress!

Abs are starting to show up! Woo! I have to admit It’s been very stressful  with school so I have been eating out more than I want. Of course it’s healthy food but nothing beats home made food. So my progress slowed down, at least I feel that way. What you eat is really important. If you find yourself not getting results faster it’s probably because you aren’t strict with what you eat. I learned that the hard way. So make sure you are eating 5 to 6 meals a day. Make sure you are drinking enough water and not starving your body. Your body is a temple so treat it as so. Don’t put crap into it. Nurture it, take care of it.

With that being said today I did legs, abs and HIIT on the stairmaster. I will post up the routine later because I have a quiz soon! Here is a progress pic.

Jefit

I found an amazing application thanks to a friend of mine called Jefit. It is on both android and iphone. If you are having problems looking for a work out routine that fits your needs well look no further! This app has different types of routines for what you are looking to target and what’s even better it tells you how to do the exercises!! It is a great application. You can download more routines at jefit.com/routines

If you are looking to tone, bulk or just simply lose weight this app breaks it down for how you want to do that.

You can also target specific muscles if that’s what you are trying to do. I love this app so much because I usually find myself looking for other body builder’s routines but this app aids well in that! Check out this app it is amazing!!

Triceps/cardio/shoulders

Today’s work out of the day consists of working out upper body. These work outs are easy to do and don’t reallt require a spotter.
1) Tricep Kickbacks 3 x 12

2) Triceps Cable Pressdown 3 x 12

Make sure to keep your elbows in with this one. Inside but don’t use your body to help only your triceps.

3) Tricep Dips 4 x 10

4) Lying Barbell Tricep Extensions 3 x 12

With this work out you can choose to use a barbell but you can also use dumbbells if it’s easier.
5) Push-ups 3 x 15

These are pretty self explanatory, if regular push ups are too hard you can do push ups with your knees on the floor.

6) Arnold Press 3 x 12
This is one of my favorites. These are a little hard to get so I posted a video.

Lastly do a 45 min incline on treadmill at 21 incline and 3 mph.

Calf raises, feel the burn baby!!

I learned this from p90x.
Grab some weights and start with your toes pointed straight.
1. Do 3 sets of 15 calf raises.
2. Point your toes out 3 x 15
3. Lastly point your toes in do 3 x 15.

Leg Day accomplished.

If you go and see my previous post I set up my leg day routine by going online and researching. If you do my leg routine you’re sure to break a sweat. Try it out, it took me about and 1 hr and a half. If you’re in a rush you can cut my routine in half. I would say take out the knee step ups, the smith machine leg work out and the single leg deadlifts. Other than that prepare to feel the burn!!
