I TRIED FASTED CARDIO FOR A WEEK

Hello everyone!

I TRIED FASTED CARDIO AND LOST 3LBS AND FAT ON MY LOWER STOMACH

I have been struggling with the belly fat around my lower stomach (below my belly button) for a while now. That seems to be the last place I lose my fat and to be honest I have never seen that part of my stomach look anything like I would like it to look.

I have been struggling with this for a while now and decided to try fasted cardio.

What is fasted cardio?

Fasted cardio is doing cardio right when you wake up before you eat anything. Since your body has technically been fasting while you were asleep, your body uses burns fat instead of its preferred energy source – carbs – as energy. There are many articles out there and research that shows that fasted cardio does work but you also have to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Meaning if you incorporate fasted cardio and still eat like crap, then you probably won’t see a difference.

Essentially fasted cardio may burn more calories from fat. But it can also end up burning protein which you know is important for building and repairing muscle. This is why I suggest drinking BCAA’s while doing fasted cardio.

Since fat is the main fuel source while in a fasted state, fat from hard to reach areas like lower stomach, thighs and hips can slim down since this is where a lot of fat gets stored, especially in women.

Did fasted cardio work for me?

I think it did! It’s only been a week and I lost 3 lbs. and noticeably lost fat on my lower stomach. Since my fitness goals are to be really lean and continue to lose body fat, I will continue doing fasted cardio and see where it goes. All in all, I am already excited with the results. FAT BLASTING HOME WORKOUT – GLUTES, ABS AND 15 MIN HIIT FAT BURNER (VIDEO)

AT HOME FAT BURNING WORKOUT – GO!

Here’s a quick booty home workout you can do practically anywhere and you don’t even need weights or resistance bands. Of course it helps to add a little resistance. Exercises are on the video but you can find them below as well:

GLUTES

  • Pull throughs – 3×12
  • Kickbacks – 3×12 each leg
  • Kickback pulses – 3 sets till failure
  • Supermans 3×10
  • Donkey Kicks 3×12 each leg
  • Goblet Squats – 3×12
  • Calf Raises – 3×20

ABS

  • Superset – Reverse Crunch + Bicycle Crunch – 3×20
  • Superset – Vertical Toe Touches + Russian Twists -x20
  • Superset – Knee Tucks Mountain Climbers – 3×20

15 MIN HIIT

  • Jumping Lunges for 30 secs, 1 minute walk around and repeat for 15 minutes. Burn baby burn!

Also, my birthday was March 21 and I turned the big 3 0! I am posting this video so late. Sorry ya’ll! I spent Thursday to Monday in Miami biiiitchhhhhh!!! Also I will be posting a blog about my trip to Miami, stay tuned!

Anyway, I recently started a “shredding” challenge for 8 weeks. We shall see how it goes. I have to work out 6x a week and have to do cardio 4x times which includes 2 low intensity sessions and 2 HIIT sessions! The first 2 weeks I did about 90% of the workouts. It is pretty intense and not for beginners.

Road to Fit | Week 1 (video)

Hello savages!

Welcome back to my fitness journey. I wasn’t able to work out due to surgery but now I’m back and on it!

I am starting off gradually since I have not been active for 6 weeks. I am starting with isolation exercises to limit delayed onset muscle soreness for about 4 weeks then moving on to compound exercises.

Remember when you start a new workout routine, your body needs to adjust and get used to this. If you go hard in the beginning, you will be more sore than if you started gradually.

I am working out 3 times a week for now. I have also added 200 calories to my diet since I don’t want to starve myself. Follow my on my road to fit!
