Day 14 of the Petite Advantage Diet.

As you all know, I have been doing Jim Kara’s Petite Advantage Diet my way. I am still eating 1,100 calories for 2 days straight followed by a day of 1,600 calories day.

I started the diet on January 2nd and I am going on 2 weeks today. I went from 169.6 to 163.6. I have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks which is not bad at all.

I have been a little groggy due to being on medication. My appetite has been sub par. Also had a lot of fat today for some reason it may also be off because I just went based off what I think it may be since I did eat out twice today. I did not get any food that I could actually scan.

Today was an off day for me. I ate more than 1,100 calories but I don’t know, I just was not that hungry today. I felt groggy and fatigued. All in all I believe I did okay.

I did so much better with fat today! YAS! Went overboard with protein but I have been lacking it so that works. Now I had a small breakfast which totally messed me up because I was starving once it was dinner time. Having a huge breakfast really helps keep hunger at bay.

Make sure that your biggest meal is breakfast.

As you can see, I have been doing horribly with the fat AGAIN. Hello Fresh probably needs better options without so much fat haha. A lot of the fat comes from the Hello Fresh meals that tell you to add a lot of fat. For example when the recipe calls for olive oil or butter, I just use cooking spray. It may look like I am eating more fat than I am but it’s actually me just inputting the calories and ingredients from the actual recipe without subtracting the fat from olive oil and butter. It looks like more, but I am thinking there is about 5 – 10 grams less than it shows.

As you can see, I have been doing horribly with the fat on the weekends, but a lot of the fat comes from the hello fresh meals that tell you to add a lot of fat. For example when the recipe calls for olive oil or butter, I just use cooking spray. As you can see, I did pretty good with my diet considering I went out to eat. The only thing is, I only had fruit for lunch. All in all not bad.

As you can see I am not doing the best with my fat intake and that is because I chose to eat a freaking bacon Gouda. But you know what, that’s okay. The issue here is that I chose to eat out. So I got a small sandwich with more fat than the other nutrients and hardly any nutritional value. You know what? That’s okay, no one is perfect and we are going to have our hiccups. The good thing about my calories intake though is I did not go over 1,100 calories so I am still at a deficit. 


Workout – Hamstrings and shoulders

Dumbbell Deaflift – 4 sets of 12 reps till (makes the back of your legs look smoother)

single leg romanian deaflift

Single leg romanian deaflift – 4 sets on each leg; 12 reps (this works out your core, helps with balance and gets you a nice lower glute) 

Super set (when you 1 exercise followed by another right away)

The Petite Advantage Diet | Day 3

Today is day 3 of the petite advantage diet.

I am assuming this is water weight just because I have been drink like 4 – 24 oz drinks a day with tea. I like to drink green tea, but any tea without sugar will help.

I started this diet at 169.6 lbs and now am at 164!

Chest incline machine – 3 sets of 12 reps

Push down – 3 sets of 12 reps
