Welcome back to my fitness journey. I wasn’t able to work out due to surgery but now I’m back and on it!
I am starting off gradually since I have not been active for 6 weeks. I am starting with isolation exercises to limit delayed onset muscle soreness for about 4 weeks then moving on to compound exercises.
Remember when you start a new workout routine, your body needs to adjust and get used to this. If you go hard in the beginning, you will be more sore than if you started gradually.
I am working out 3 times a week for now. I have also added 200 calories to my diet since I don’t want to starve myself. Follow my on my road to fit!
