Have a hard time working out? Here are some ideas to get you started. You can practically work out during a lot of daily activities.


A few posts ago I asked people how they incorporated exercise into their daily lives.

The list is still open for people to contribute here. Please feel free to add your ideas.

Here are the suggestions so far.

  1. I’m not perfect about this, but sometimes I do planks during commercial breaks or tighten my abs or bum while I’m sitting down. BUT nothing beats going for a run with my husband.
  2. Always take the stairs. Even when you’re a little bit weary, just train your mind to ignore escalators.
  3. For exercise, I do one push-up, one sit-up and three leg lifts on each side for every tab I open on the computer.
  4. Think about how you can change your transport to work. Can you walk or bike? If you take the train or bus could you get off a stop short and walk the rest?
